Description

Activity Ideas:

  • Using felt pieces, draw round and cut out a red dragon. Cut a half length (landscape) of green felt and glue it to the lower half of a white felt piece. Glue the dragon on top of these, add some ribbon to the top and you have your own Welsh flag wall hanging.
  • Pass the dragon around a discussion group and ask each person to name a famous Welsh person. If they can’t – write down some Welsh towns and ask them to pronounce the name!
  • Draw around the cutter on some card and colour red – add some stick on eyes. Glue to a wooden stick to make a storytelling puppet. Make more characters in the same way and write a play for people to perform.

Just the thing for St David’s Day – make your own Welsh-inspired cookies – or use with modelling clay to make a lasting ornament to hang or display on a windowsill.

So easy to use for older care home residents.

Fully washable and long lasting.
