Plant these out in to raised beds or plant the coil pots straight in to the ground. An area where the grass is kept longer is a good spot to encourage other insects. Here are a few ideas of making a wild garden area:
- Add a bird feeding station near the area so you can watch the whole area at the same time and make notes of what you see
- For those who are in beds, put a window bird feeder outside and plant the flowers outside the window so the smell drifts in and the flowers can be seen
- Decorate pebbles with words of wellness and happiness or with bug drawings and stack them up in the grass, these become a great place for spiders and other creepy crawlies to hide – by decorating the pebbles they can be easily spotted by you
- Once the flowers have grown, cut a few to encourage regrowth and press the flowers in a flower press, once pressed after a couple of weeks, make in to a picture to enjoy all year round.
