Quizzes are a brilliant social activity as they really encourage discussion and inherently motivate participants to engage more than they might otherwise. When running a quiz it is important to carefully gauge the ability of the people taking part, you don’t want to make it too easy nor too hard. You can make your quiz more of an event by creating an atmosphere through themed decorations. Running a periodic quiz night is also a great way to encourage families of  care home residents to engage.
