Build a Scene

The idea for this Build a Scene section is to design and build displays that can be used daily by residents walking around. They can also be used as story starters or reminiscence sessions. Plan a theme like a duck pond park, make a papier-mâché scene then add pieces to it – mirror card for water, modelling clay to make the ducks, the wooden family walking the dog, craft sticks to make a bench or a farmyard with the wooden animals and a tractor, make some hay bales out of dried grass from the garden.
