Activity Ideas

  • Lay out all the boards infront of a player and have someone else stand behind them and trace out one of the shapes on their back with their finger - can they guess which it is?
  • Make a rubbing of each board and lay all the sheets out on a table, give the player a board without them being able to see it and have them try and identify which shape it is by touch alone.
  • Have the player feel the shape (without looking) and then draw the shape as accurately as possible
  • Have two players sitting back to back (or at least so they can't see each other) one has to give the other verbal instructions to enable the other player to draw the shape that they either see for feel
