How You Can Have Fun Playing Games and Raising Funds for Dementia

Charities are particularly suffering during the COVID-19 pandemic, with fundraising activities severely curtailed, funding has fallen drastically. Now here is something everyone can do in their own homes or care homes, and here's how by Dementia UK:

Dementia UK Raise Your Game | Activities to Share

'Raise your Game is the perfect occasion to bring people together, either socially distanced, virtually or within your household. You can play your favourite games and have fun, whilst raising vital funds to help our dementia specialist Admiral Nurses support more families facing dementia.

Raise your Game is taking place in October, but you can hold an event on any date that suits you. Read about how you can Raise your Game for Dementia UK here, and sign up for your free fundraising pack with everything you need to get started.

The difference you will make

By taking part in Raise your Game and raising money for Dementia UK, you will help dementia specialist Admiral Nurses support more families facing dementia.

  • £33 could pay for a new Admiral Nurse to support a family in crisis with nowhere else to turn
  • £125 could pay for an Admiral Nurse to answer calls for an evening on our Dementia Helpline, when other sources of support have closed for the night
  • £515 could pay for two Admiral Nurses to answer calls on our Dementia Helpline on Sundays, when families have nowhere else to turn to
