Our Activity Pillows provide a lap based form of stimulation designed to keep minds active and restless hands occupied.
This type of tactile activity is particualry suitable for people with dementia.
Pillows can be personalized by placing a photo or favourite picture in the vinyl “picture frame” behind the velcro flap to create a reminiscence activity.
By fastening a favourite item or treasure to the permanently attached key ring in the pocket creates an extra tactile activity
Pillows provide lacing, buckling and zipping activities, a “flip-and-feel” assortment of fabrics for tactile stimulation, cloth, animal pictures, and a shape matching activity (shapes permanently attached to the mat by a cord to prevent loss).
Pillows are completely washable. Pillow measures: 56cm x40cm x 3cm (22” x 15½” x 1”) and can be strapped to an over-chair tray.
