Care homes across the UK are opening their doors this Friday June 17th and Activities to Share are joining in with the fun at our local Care UK Residential Home in Faversham, Kent.
Kingsfield Jubilee Way
The day will open at 10.00am and will include a talk from the Home Manager, a ‘hands on’ activity with ‘Zoo Lab’ (small animal petting facility), garden activities and also a Frank Sinatra/Neil Diamond tribute act. Refreshments available.
Our very own Anna Terry and Yvette Hartley will be attending the day, offering helpful advice and information on products and ideas for Activity Coordinators working with residents who have a wide range of abilities.
The Open Day is an ideal opportunity for anyone who would like to see what their local care homes can offer and a chance to meet the residents and staff alike. You can hear first-hand what residential life is really about and how they connect with their local communities.
